Okay, I told the kids I would make them cupcakes for my birthday. I've been telling them this for days now, so obviously I was obligated to do so. I don't mind, and I enjoy baking. Of course, by waiting until the last minute that meant that I was going to use the boxed mixes. Funfetti, chocolate, and vegan, gluten-free brownies. The chocolate ones didn't turn out well at all. I blame it on the fact that I only had 2 eggs left when I needed three. in fact, I'm completely embarrassed to bring the chocolate ones to the daycare tomorrow, even though I'm sure no one will care. I'll put up a picture, though, because I'm cool like that and I will get over it in time.
