Damn I heard about the accident. Sorry to hear. The bike can be replaced but you can't is how I like to think of it.

I'm trying to get the motivation to play guitar again. It's tough you know?

Yeah I spent a lot of time at the Valley Medical trauma center.. luckily, I walked away with no broken bones & no internal injuries. The bike has already been restored and it looks like it just rolled off a showroom floor. I'm a lot more careful on it to say the least tho.

I don't know why I lost my drive to play.. I think the whole "scene" left me jaded and bored..

I had no idea you quit drinking. Yeah I miss beer too, definitely more than liquor. Are you quitting for good or just for a while?

For good...done my time, harder time than 90% of the world prolly...owning a home and having kids makes you want to take a step back from being a lush...even once a week...You could lose it all so easily...
I lost 11 pounds in 3 months doing nothing different...feel better etc etc ..you know the routine...

Glad to hear it man - knowing you've quit makes me feel like I'm not alone in all this mess. Finally, someone I can hang out with at shows who's not gonna call me a pussy for not drinking!

I had to quit drinking for good too. I had pretty much slowed down over the past year anyway, but had to quit for good now that I'm on blood thinners. It kinda sucks, cuz I miss my Jack Daniel's.

Good luck with that, dude...and hey, be careful on that bike, asshole! lol
