For my favorite Pirate
Jim was a very good friend to me, he was with me through some of the most important years of my life and he was always there for me in whatever way I needed him to be. Jim was fun to laugh with and watch baseball with and travel with and I love him. Jim was also a great teacher and friend, so many of the leaders at SCC learned from him, he taught without withholding anything, he was proud of us as we grew as professionals and his wisdom will be felt in the system for many many years to come. I knew Jim to approach everything in his life with intergrity and heart and it was my greatest pleasure when he was proud of me.
Please honor Jim by doing the best job you can do at the already very difficult work that you do, be a little more patient, a little kinder, a little more grateful.
