Park Hyo Shin - 해줄수 없는 일
just thought i'd share this with you, it reduced me to a soppy mess. the title, 해줄수 없는 일, translates to the things i cannot do for you. which actually sounds quite funny when you place it in a daily context, for e.g. i cannot help you go toilet, i cannot lend you money WOW I AM RUINING IT HAHA EVERYTIME SAY TOUCHING THINGS THEN MUST LIDDAT
it's a really, REALLY beautiful song. the lyrics express someone's helplessness at not being able to do anything for the person he loves, veryvery sad omg you must hear it in his voice. this is from park hyo shin's debut album, released in 2000, and this is him singing it at his very first concert.
forward to where it says -3:45 if you wanna skip the vocal acrobatics; that's when the music comes in haha. OMG THIS SONG IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL LEH THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO DESCRIBE IT. even though he has korean passerby looks, his voice compensates for his plain-ness a thousand times over (woah ah kite runner quote ah :)). a song somehow seems more real when it's sung by a person of ordinary attractiveness, doesn't it? his emotions are wow leh omg wow
