Ruby - the sweetest dog ever
So we have had Ruby for a little over a week now. She is the sweetest dog I have ever been around. She will hug you and give you kisses. She is very well-behaved, doesn't chew on my plants and is housebroken. She gets along great with Sebastian and he loves her. I took her to the vet on Tuesday and she let them take blood, cut her nails, and give her shots without even a sound or nip. Unfortunately, she is from a breed that has a bad reputation and many places want to ban. She is a pit bull. When people think of pit bulls they think of child killers and viscous dogs. It is hard for me to believe because I have never been around a mean pit bull. She gets along great with Niko, he is still unsure of her because she wants to play with him and he just wants to follow me around. I just wish people would stop judging these dogs because of the nasty people that want to make them mean. The dog breed shouldn't be punished, the idiots that abuse them should be banned, not the pit bulls. I am happy we found her and have saved one more pit bull from being unfairly abused or euthanized. I will never understand why the people we got her from didn't want her anymore. The guy did say he didn't care for female dogs which I don't understand because she is so sweet so who really cares if she is female.
