OK here it is...Last night I went and saw one of the greatest shows I will ever see. Myself, Adam, Danielle, Meschia, Cheryl, Bill, and my new and cool friend Susie went and saw the Queen, Stevie Nicks herself. We got really good seats on the lawn DEAD CENTER. Don Henley came out and played and she sang a few with him, then he rocked the fuck out, he was really awesome, better than I expected. By the time the Queen came out the dubies were blazin and it was spectacular. A funny moment, while we are waiting suddenly the music pumps up and the beginning of Edge of Seventeen comes on, everyone jumps to their feet and screams wildly....until we all realize that they turned up the radio music, they were playing Bootylicious! I bet Stevie laughed her fucking ass off! Anyways, she came out and was amazing. She sang Dreams and Rhiannon (I know I spelled it wrong) and it was beautiful. The weather was just right, and the moon was shining right over the stage, it was magic, one of the most beautiful moments of live music that I shall EVER witness. I think it will remain in my mind forever just as Tori's opening of Original Sinsuality will. The night went on and was more and more incredible. I loved Gold dust woman. And there were so many others, she is great. You can tell that her and Don Henley know each other so well, they are so comfortable onstage together and they are just great. There is this overwhelming sense of serenity when they were singing toward each other, eyes locked. She is just amazing, at the almost end they were playing Edge of Seventeen, and during this long guitar solo, Stevie went from right to left across the entire stage, and acknowledged EVERYONE in the front rows. She was taking roses and flowers and gifts and shaking hands and hugging and thanking. I love that, it was so great. When artists appreciate their fans, especially a legend like Stevie it makes them that much more amazing. She touches so many lives. I love it. They closed with Leather and Lace which was really nice. The only thing that sucked was a certain bald ugly security man, but I'm not giving him the time to ruin this beautiful post. ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!
