(no subject)
I didn't post about this here, but a while back...I got someone put in a psych ward.
I was playing WoW and this guy I kinda knew was going around telling no one in particular (and OOCly) that he was going to off himself. Now...this happened right after that guy killed himself by overdosing on webcam while all these people watched and did nothing. I wasn't going to be like those people.
So I put in a ticket to the GM's, not knowing what else to do, since I didn't know where he lived. He apparently went to bed in the meantime. And the cops showed up at his house at 5 am and he ended up being put in the psych ward.
And this, of course, made him angry. He came to me telling me "I wasn't really going to kill myself. Why'd you have to get me in trouble?" To that, I said "I didn't know you weren't going to kill yourself. Don't blame me for your problems. I was only trying to help." The entire time I was thinking, though that he shouldn't say those kinds of things just to get attention. Even if he was just doing that, he still needed help. So I did nothing wrong.
That was a couple of months ago now, I guess. And now, tonight, he just randomly walked up to me while I was RP'ing and said "I wish you wouldn't have put me in the psych ward, dear" and then walked off. Then began turning right around and thanking me. Seriously. You need to get over it. And leave me alone.
