Driving

Sometimes I forget why I hate being a passenger in any car driven by my father.  Today I was reminded.

1) Smoking - gives me headaches, it`s all well and good in the summer when I can roll my window all the way down, but in the winter it is hell.  Luckily I don`t end up in the car with my dad much anymore.

2) My father is the most agressive driver ever.  Today, instead of honking his horn politely to remind the person in front of him that the coast was clear and they could, indeed, turn right, he accelerates up and brakes immediately before rear-ending this poor soul.

My dear father; alcoholic, clinically depressed, occasionally suicidal, TERRIFYING driver... but I love him.  Despite his many short comings as a human being, he is a surprisingly excellent parent.
