So the biggest news that I have would be that I've signed up for all of my courses for next year, after a bit of a hiccough everything is perfect!
When I went to sign up for my second year Anthropology classes USource told me that there was a "year restriction". I emailed the kind folks at the UVic registration help desk and they told me that, because I dropped out of my physics course and lost those 3 credits, I am not technically a second year student. I then proceeded to email the head of the Anthropology department who let me into my courses no problem. Thank god.
Funny thing is, I had no trouble signing up for my 3rd year Anthropology courses.
Also signed up for A Cultural History of Vampires in Literature and Film. I know it sounds hokey, but apparently the professor is absolutely amazing and the course holds tons of cultural relevance. Also, apparently he's a hottie, which is always a plus. It's a long class, 4:30 to 7:20 on Monday nights. But I think it will be so worth it. I'm also tryign to get my best friend to take it with me, because we like to try to take at least one course together if we can.
Sociology, Linguistics and Spanish are also things that I have to look forward to next year. It should be a fascinating year, course-wise. Now I just hope I'll meet some gorgeous guy in one of my many interesting classes.
So just an update on classes, that's all for now.
