We walked into the concert and got our special gold wristbands for the gold circle. Walked all the way up to the gold circle and found what we thought was our seats. On the left isle was seat 1 and 2 on the right was seats 30 and 29. We knew we were center seat 1 and 2 so we sat in those seats when someone came up and told us that those were THEIR seats. So we go, well then where the hell are our seats? We went back to the ushers who had just directed us to section P rather than O and they told us that they were sorry we were in the other section. Turns out seats 1 and 2 are on the far far right with a speaker blocking the view. This wasn't right, the map on ticket master shower the center of both sides were seat 1 and 2. . So my mom and I went back to the ushers to explain the situation and there was a group of about 8 people all complaining about the same thing. The seats were labeled wrong and the people who now had center seats all stood around calling family to tell them of their 'good fortune' of getting center seats! The head security man came out and told us, for now there was nothing they could do to sit in our seats and enjoy the show and possibly work on getting a partial refund tomorrow. My mom said "what good will that do i dont wanna sit here all night staring at a speaker" and he told us he would go talk to the Antelope Valley fair coordinator. His name was Dan and he wasn't a very nice man.
Dan comes out and tells us to hang tight they were going to switch everyone's seats who had already been seated. But no, people who now had center were not going to have that. They were rude and sat there anyways THEY put up a fight, can i just say, they knew what seats they bought online and they all were talking about how lucky they were what kind of a person has such low morals that they wouldn't take the seat they purchased and let me have mine. So Dan comes back and tells us, no they won't be switching seats but he can give us a complaint form. Uproar happened people were PISSED OFF. About 15 of us had gathered now and were pitching a fit.
So Dan goes back and finds two elderly hick women to come with him out and say "this is the way it always is, seat 1 is on the side not the center we are not switching seat." Now everyone is screaming at Dan and these two women and they say their word is final. So some people are just standing and it got quiet so one of the two young friend i made said "why can't we just sit in the seats we payed for" in a hostile voice because like everyone else he was upset. Dan replied just as hostilely "if you wanna discuss this further i'd be happy to step out to the side" like he was wanting to fight him. It was crazy so my friend backed off and I said in my sweet teenage girl voice "well do you understand what happened? the ticket-" he cut me off and said louder this time "if you want to talk to me about it we can step over there". I WAS PISSED. I'm a 17 year old girl and you're going to yell at me like that when i didn't even raise my voice, if anything i softened it to try and play at your heartstrings. You've GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. So they say their word is final and walk away.
We go to our NOT seats and as we pass the people who are sitting in the seats WE PAYED FOR, they start to say things like "look they are pissed!" i was livid. I was raging like a fucking bull at this point but i kept my cool and went to talk to the people sitting by our non-seats. They were all mad, one little girl was confused because she knew she was careful to buy the seats in the center, oh bb we all were. The head security guy, who was a very nice man in a cowboy hat came over to talk to us and the mom of my new young friends said something along the lines of "what about a meet & greet we drove all the way out here.. from Ventura." He said he would check and came back with Dan to say, no David said he had to leave directly after the concert but they could get some autographed photos. They said yes and the security guy left. At this time people began to argue with dan again and i was the only one not raising my voice, the only one he was listening to but the hoards of angry people around us kept yelling because he was trying to say you can't see the seating chart when you buy from ticketmaster. I was trying to explain that, yes you can in fact. He was pissed and stormed off.
So my mom starts crying because honestly we can't afford shit like this but for second row center, we splurged. Then ended up with not second row center. Now the fair was blaming our misfortune on ticketmaster saying that they got it switched somehow. So at this point that is who we have to take our complaints up with, ticketmaster. Although for sure we are going to bitch to both. 130 dollars for crap seats? i don't think so. So i'm crying at this point after holding it back for a long time.
So the opener starts and nobody on our side is paying any attention to them and everyone is finally deciding how to get up front. Me and the two young people i was hanging with saw that people were sitting in the middle of the two sections of the floor so we went and sat there. The people sitting in our seats were being rude and saying shitty things, at one point the old mother gets up and starts waving her arms like "bitch please" and saying "IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN GO BACK TO YOUR SEATS! OKAY I'LL GET SECURITY!" So she goes and gets them and they told her there was nothing they could do. So to be honest, we were feeling pretty good. By the way, we did NOT sit right infront of them or stand infront of them they just didn't want us to have a good time because they were bitter old cougers. I SWEAR TO GOD.
So we chilled on the floor and were super into it on this high of beating the system. We kept going back and forth to our non seats and each time we passed the rude cougers they would say shitty things to us but whatever. So intermission comes and slowly everyone ends up standing at the barricade and we are there for a good amount of time before security comes up and tells us we can't be up there until david calls us up.
So we have to go back to our seats. There was a big space between first row and the barricade so we stood there all the way on the end while we waited for david. Figuring if people bum rushed the stage it would be easier to get up there. At this point my mom is sitting in our non-seat really upset, she wasn't going to get over it she was so worked up, i felt so bad. So david comes out and performs the first song and everyone takes a step toward the stage and security comes and holds them all back. They told us we are okay where we are because we were on the side, i took a picture of everyone hanging not in their seats because they were mad. So the crazy cougar is dancing, i video taped that because lolz seriously LO-FUCKING-L. I might upload it to youtube later if it is okay footage. The girl i was hanging with was crying and really upset so i spent the second song dancing like an idiot and vogue-ing and flapping my arms to make her smile. She kind of did.
Then cook did a little finger beckon and we all RAN. The cougar bitch started elbowing me. Like i have never been elbowed before so i threw my whole arm into elbowing her shoulder and was like "MOVE OUT MY FUCKING WAY AND GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT YOU CRAZY BITCH" and she got mad at me because everyone was pushing her ten year old daughter. YES this vulgar crazy bitch had a daughter with her. Way to teach her good morals. Not only were you rude and mean to teenagers but you showed her how not to behave like a good citizen and move to the seat you bought. So we got in an elbow fight and the teenager boy i was with saw this and came in and pushed me out of the way and elbowed her something FIERCE. It was awesome. Then security yelled at him because he is a guy and she is a girl SHE STARTED IT! So in the end we got against the stage in the center. Moved slowly to the right to let some ten year olds stand in front of us, they threw a beanie baby up there for him that was adorable!
The crazy lady's daughter had a rose for David and he kept looking at them and ignoring them. DENIED. I told the lady i wasn't trying to push her kid and she goes "the only people i give a shit about are her and her" while point to her friend and her daughter. OKAY THEN BITCH LET ME PUSH YOUR DAUGHTER THEN PSYCHO BITCH. I was pissed. I still am actually even though i've moved on from the seating.
So during permanent he ran through the sound booth and jumped over a speaker and stood in front of the megaton on the side that the seats got screwed up on. (He knew because they asked for a meet and greet to make up for it) so that felt good that he went over there for us. Even though i wasn't over there anymore.
Later the little girl threw her rose on the stage and david looked at it and kinda smiled and neal kicked it. lololol. I feel bad for the girl but, seriously i laughed. Me and the new friend i made (the girl) made faces at david like CRAZY CRAZY faces and he laughed at us. I also made the beanface and he did it back. Someone had a sign that said "YOU NEED TO CALL ARCHIE" and he goes "pshhp HE HAS MY NUMBER!" it was funny.
There wasn't much else for the concert part but we hung around after to see about the signed pictures kyle came out to talk to some family or friends he had in the audience and me and the friends ran over there to say hi and the guy goes "everyone else on that stage was a 7 and you were a 9, you rock dude." and i go "a 7 really? and he's so a ten i mean COME ON!" and kyle just laughed at me. Then we left because we didnt wanna bug him.
Didn't get autographs but Dan the not nice man was nice and wrote their address down to send some to them. I passed because i already have his autograph.
(And i heard about Cook's stalkers, that they supposedly put their mother in a nursing home to follow him and got on his bus? idek but if they were there i hope they got trampled THAT IS BEYOND CRAZY)
oh and the lady next to me was singing along to his songs in OPERA. I SWEAR TO GOD. craaaaaaaazy
concert!
