Home, Sweet Home.

I just got back from Chicago an hour ago. I'm pretty tired, but it was really fun!

We did a TON of shopping! It was really fun! I hadn't gone hard core shopping like that in a really long time. I did a pretty good job at being economical. Even though I bought a ton of stuff, most of it was on sale. I think I did a good job. I bought a cowboy hat too! I've always wanted one! I'll probably be wearing it non-stop for the next couple of days. Hell, I'm wearing it right now! If you're wondering whether or not I'm excited about it, I am. :o)

I made my parents take me to Olive Garden last night. That place has got to be the best ever. Every time I walk out of that restaurant I feel like I'm gonna roll over and die...It's SUCH a good feeling! lol. It's all because of those breadsticks and alfredo sauce. They get me every time, and I like it :)

We went to the Rainforest Cafe too! I could have a whole vacation focused soley on eating and I'd be a happy girl. We were eating, and the kids at the table next to us were like, "Look, it's Dory! Mom, Look!" It was so sweet! But then one of them had this MAJOR accident (if you know what I mean) and it was disgusting. It was like all over her back. Poor kid. Needless to say, I was done eating my apple cobbler at that point. Aren't children wonderful? I want at least 5. lol.

Is "every time" one word or two? Damn you, stupid English language...

Being in Chicago really makes me realize how much St.Joe lacks culture. I love having so many foreign people around. It makes the world seem so much more exotic and interesting. I wish I had an accent. Accents are WAY sexy.

I didn't really get a chance to look at DePaul all that much, but I'm registering to visit on May 18th. I absolutely adore the city, but as much as I'd like to tell myself that I'm not, I'm a small town, country girl at heart. The thought of being there by myself scares me a little bit, but I'm sure that's natural. I'm sure I'll think differently after I get a better look at the campus. Going to college in Chicago would be really good for me. I need the freedom to experience things and be independent, and it would be so awesome to do that in Chicago. But, like Beth said, school in Chicago is one of my back-up schools. We'll see. No need to worry and get myself all stressed out yet. I'll work everything out in due time.

I've been a Michigan fan to the core since I was practically a baby. I would be the fourth generation in my family to go there if I decide that's the place for me. I've always thought that I'd end up there. I'm just worried that I won't get in. Plus, I'm just applying to Notre Dame for shits and giggles. I'm sure I'll get a letter in the mail saying, "HA, right...like we'd let YOU in," but if I didn't apply, I'd always be curious as to what would've happened. Meh, we'll see.

I know I have more to say (even though this is already a long entry), but I'm hungry. lol. Food is my world. See y'all later. :o) <3
