Good god, I'm so bored, but, that feeling just disapeared when presented with a clean page to type on.
Still got nothing to write about though, I suppose
The flame in my heart extinguished
like a candle caught in a vaccume,
And her face faded like
the sun on a summers eve.
Long lingering countenance
that marred my days until
it faded in to a horizen,
the colour of palsied blood.
In those days I clung on to
longcast shadows
of the love we had shared
and memories stung, like salt on a wound that has been bared
But the shadows cleared
as the sun of our love did set
and as a new light dawned
with it came a new warmth
Not found in my love of old
known only to those who feel it's glow
of a world away from this one I stand
where poesy of old streams through the land
Where the freemen of old
gather around the ancient fountain
and drink it's youthful sangria
and talk of things been and gone
But never things to come
the future worries not
those who have none
how I long to be with them now
But I feel a different sun rising
the old one, of passion'd lust
it drags me away from that
arcadian vision, away, away
From the men
so liberated from my world
from the fountain
that staves off age
And retains life in an everpresent
now, that with sweet divine flavour
causes futures to roll away
and the past to be tasted more keenly
This sun, with charioted malice
drags me, tears me, away from this
in to a world where the future is all and
the past is a rope bridge on it's last thread
And in the chariot that in turn drags this sun
there stands a fair vixen of a woman,
she controls the rabid dogs of the chariot
with ease and looks down to me
with pleasing temptation,
of which I cannot resist.
This sun, this vixen,
gives me a future and I must go to it.
finished a poem.
It's just nothing really, I think it's okay but one day I'm gonna redraft it, I want to write something that is as near to perfect as possible, it's weird.
Weird weird, Pete Doherty finds god, 'fans' on message board scoff.
It's strange, I mean he never expressed an antireligion view, I mean half the talk of arcadia which they took inspiration from, is very much almost a vague religous doctrine, and he did say he wanted his music to create a 'comune of the soul' so you know, he's hardly adverse to that side of life.
I guess most people there are just a bit dull and stupid now.
aah, shuffle is good.
