i feel like a bitch but oh well
OK so first Happy New Year everyone:)
-->so let me tell you about my day today...first when i got back from boston my computer was broken...the screen was black...weird. Anyway that afternoon(monday) i took it into the shop a few towns over that my dad always does buisness with. I tell them whats wrong and they tell me to expect a phone call by wednesday. I say thank you because i have to go back to school soon and need my computer. Wednesday comes and goes and still no word on my computer. So thursday I call and they tell me "Oh it's almost done you can pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Someone will call you when its ready"...i wait today and get no call...so finally i call around 1pm...they then say that they haven't even looked at my computer yet so how could they possibly know how long it will take to fix. I say ok and explain that i am leaving soon and if they need to order a part it would be best to get that done. This guy tells me that he is going to look at it and call me in 1/2 hour. I say thanks and wait.
-->4pm still no call...so i call again. This rude women answers the phone and tell me that she is too busy to talk and hangs up before i can even ask to talk to the nice man. I wait 30 minutes and try again...she says once again that she can't fix my computer in a very rude way...i then assume that she thinks that i was expecting her to drop everything to fix my computer and i was being one of those rude women. I start to apoligize and tell her that "no i do not expect someone there to magically fix my computer, i would just like someone to look at it like promised so that i know how long it is going to take to fix because if it will not be done in a week then i must figure out another arangement for a laptop."...i don't get halfway through this when she HANGS UP ON ME! the bitch hung up on me...what type of customer service is that. I wait an hour figuring that maybe that nice man would be back by the phone and call...Nope still the bitch. so i hand the phone over to my mom. well obviously she did hang up on my mom, an adult, but she was still very rude and wouldn't answer any of our questions. This is a place located in clinton and they have another one in branford which is also near me. i call those people and tell them the story. the nice man on the phone asks why when i have been dealing with clinton i would call them. I tell him about the rude lady and said that whenever i call she answers so i am never calling there again. He laughed and said that all my info was on the computer and he could give me an ESTAMITE ON HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE. I almost started crying i was so happy! Thats all i was trying to get out of that women. So he looked up my name and then noticed that i had the name info as my dad. My dad and the fishtale have done a lot of buisness with them. He tells me that he is the owner and knows my father very well. He said that if i had told this women that i was realated to joe goldberg she probley would have helped me. Then i get mad at him...you should treat every customer equally no matter who their family is. He tells me that it will be about 500 to fix.
--->once i hang up with him i imedialtly look at what that is going to do to my bank account. Then i realize that bishop's never payed me. I call them and they can't find any pay stubs or checks...awesome! just fabulous. i am going in tomorrow morning to deal with those losers too!
