Your Honor, my parents treat me rough. With all their marijuana, They won't give me a puff!
Soo last night I went to see Westside Story at Nature Coast 'cause my cousin, TheOtherBianca, had the lead role of Maria. Tony was played by Shawn Doolittle. Maybe some of you have seen him before? He went to Notre Dame but he's always being featured in various happy singing events around Hernando. He's really good.
Anyway Grace and Meagan came with me. (Meagan pointed out that the kid sitting in front of me looked like Brandon Boyd and yeah, she was right. I sort of tried to get a picture but I was unsuccessful, as usual.) So we're sitting there talking and just a minute before the show started Meagan had to get up to make an important phone call. So naturally the show starts and she's still outside. I started to panick slightly because the tickets say, "Latecomers will be seated during intermission." So Meagan text messages me saying that they won't let her back in so she decided to go home. I guess they do that because their theatre is only a blackbox theatre so all the actors are really close and it would be kind of dangerous for people to go walking around in the middle of a show. But I still think they could have warned her that the doors were about to close. I was rather pissed off about that.
Other than that, I enjoyed the show. I actually had to work to keep myself from crying a couple of times. A few of the kids were just plain goofy, particularly the Jets, but even so I really enjoyed, "Gee, Officer Krupke."
Afterwards we went to Chili's with my cousin and her mom and friends so I had a crappy Molten Chocolate Cake ♥ and my parents embarassed me again, as usual. Yayy.
