How do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee?

H'okay.
Saw Rent yesterday and I thought it was BRILLIANT.

(I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED ADAM PASCAL, ANTHONY WRAPP MAKES ME BLUSH, TRACIE THOMS IS ADORABLE, IDINA MENZEL IS THE QUEEN OF BROADWAY, I LOVE JESSE L. MARTIN, TAYE DIGGS IS AMAZING, WILSON JERMAINE HEREDIA IS ABSOLUTE LOVE, AND I ALMOST REALLY LIKE ROSARIO DAWSON.)

Beacon gave Rent one of the small theatres. It doesn't seem like there are many Rent fans in Spring Hill because it was pretty empty.
Since the audience was so small, I didn't notice much of a response. I wanted to sing and dance and moo but I figured I'd piss everyone off, so I kept quiet. I mean, I tried. You know I tried.
We had a group of nine and by the end, seven of us had cried and there are three new converts among us, which I think is fab.
It was really close to the play, and I am quite content with the parts that were changed. It's just an amazing story, and I highly recommend seeing it, whether you're already a fan or not.

I can't wait until Rent and Harry Potter go to Spring Hill 8 so I can see them 800 times each before they come out on DVD...

Afterwards, I went to Grace's house for a bit and then I went to St. Francis Cabrini with NHS to help prepare Thanksgiving dinners for some less fortunate people. I actually enjoyed myself and my cousin showed up to help, so that was fun times as well.

Anywho, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. And happy birthday to Grace!
