Don't believe everything you hear, don't believe, just turn your ear.

It finally stopped raining about an hour after we were supposed to be at the festival, which was good but everything was really muddy. Providence was already playing. I had seen them at Relay For Life last year but I don't think they played many songs and I was too busy setting up the NHS tent to pay attention. I met up with Jolene and we watched the end of their performance.

Woohoo.

They've got a big fanbase of freshmen from Nature Coast. ;)

She was thrilled, I'm sure.

Group shot.

I really enjoyed listening to them. I was so impressed that I bought some merchandise, CDs and whatnot. Although I think they sounded better live. And Jolene and I both got there signatures on these pictures we got. Hopefully Providence will become huge and famous and they'll be worth something one day. :D
And we got these T-shirts. Jolene was debating which size to get so finally she gave them back the one she was holding for a smaller one. We were just standing there waiting and the next thing we knew two of the guys had signed the T-shirt as well, instead of giving her the smaller size. She wasn't sure what to do then because they had written all over it. She eventually decided to just leave and walked away with a shirt with two signatures. I was hysterical. XD

(See and listen to Providence here, here, or here.)

EDIT:
a single sigh: How was the band?
awful leisure: They were pretty good. Although I missed most of it because of the rain.
a single sigh: Ahh.. yeah.. they lost a guitar and like two other things..
a single sigh: After they played that is.
awful leisure: o.O
awful leisure: I didn't know that.
a single sigh: I think it was them anyway. They turned a corner and the back of the're car/truck/suv (whatever it was) opened and the guitar and stuff fell out.
awful leisure: holy crappp.
awful leisure: That sucks so much.
a single sigh: Yeah.. and then two women grabbed the stuff and put it in the back of their suv...

Here's hoping they get their stuff back! :(((

We met up with a few other people (most of you didn't show! >:\) and bought funnel cake<3 and spent the rest of the night on the rides.

Fun house, worddd.
Jolene and I (especially Jolene) got mud all over our behinds when we went down the slide at the end. x\

This is what Jolene and I look like fat. :(

MERRY-GO-ROUND.

This is my horse.
I couldn't think of a good name, though.

Sweet dragon ride. You know, one of those where you spin it by yourself.
We probably spent half the night on the kiddie rides and got the most nauseous from them.
This one was particularly amusing, though, because we were the only ones on it. And the guy running it kept insisting he was Mickey Mouse which was really kind of weird. When the ride finally stopped he took awhile to come over to open the little latch so we could get out and I thought, "Well, maybe we're not the only ones on it." No, he just took long because he was creeping around the side of it so he could jump out and scare us. I wasn't as scared because I had seen him do the same thing to some little kids, though not as frightening, but Jolene screamed. Haha.
Later we passed by again and he said, "I'm still Mickey Mouse!" 'Kay.

By the time I saw this ride I was too dizzy to attempt it but it looked awesome.

And this morning Jolene came with my mom and I to St. Pete for this "Live free" (anti-drugs) walk-a-thon. They had asked my mom to help out doing massages and so Jolene and I tagged along to see if we could get some community service hours. It turned out to be pretty lame because the weather was really blah so no one showed up. We were in charge of manning two of those kiddie moonjump things. It was so boring that I started to fall asleep sitting up. Most of the kids that got in it were really old anyway, including the two of us. After sitting there for five minutes I had resolved to have a turn before we left and we totally did, which was awesome. Jolene caught a video of me jumping, though. :\

After two hours, which really felt like seven, we left and went to Bay Walk to eat at The Dish.
Then we went hooome.

The end.
