"Another day, another migraine."

My first period class is health, a required "course."

As most people are aware, all of the health classes consist primarily of freshman. For the past three years, I have been planning to take health online so I could save room for more important classes. Last May when I was choosing classes, I realized I was running out of good classes to take, so I figured I'd just take health in school and wouldn't have to ruin my summer with worrying about the online class.

I think I made a mistake.

The kids in these classes are not just young; they're young and stupid. I've met a lot of dumbasses at Springstead in the past three years but I don't think even my 9th grade Drama class can rival this.

Today our teacher, Ms. Laza/Mrs. Pandolfo, wasn't there so we had a substitute and she left a word search and a crossword puzzle for us to do. Fair enough. I started doing the word search and within a few minutes some of the kids started to complain that they couldn't do the other puzzle, so the substitue tried to help them out. This is what ensued:
Question: Lima is the capital of _____.
So the sub said, "Ok, Lima. Does anyone know what Lima is the capital of?"
Obviously, no one was going to know the answer so I (not being the class participation type, mind you) called out, "Peru!" He didn't hear me. "Peru!" He didn't hear me. "PERU."
Then he said, "Right, Peru! Does anyone know where Peru is?"
Some kid in the back of the room answered, "South America."
Then another girl said, "Wait, I thought Peru was in Europe?"
The teacher was clearly upset by this comment but I think he's probably used to it. Because then he started talking about Chile and its capital.
Another random kid: "I think that's the one that's in Europe!"

Mind you, I had to endure about 50 minutes of this.

Someone tell me how I'm supposed to do this until December. Please.

school, stupid morons, wtf, health, ms. laza
