Okay, Friday night, so Jordanxcore & I get to Amanda's house around 3. We basically hang out there, Val comes..we eat dinner, the whole stuff until it's time to leave for PD at 5:45. So Amanda's mom takes us & drops us off, of course we are all hyped. We get there & we meet up with Jxcore who is one of the coolest boys ever. So we all grab spots at the main stage & hang there for awhile. At around 7, the Colour Revolt comes on, I didn't really liked them that much. Then it was speaker & worship time around 7:30, which was definately cool. At 8:20(yes, I'm looking at the schedule, lol), Lovedrug came on, I thought they were alright I've seen better, they're totally a couples band..lol. Around 9pm, Copeland came on, they were really good & of course Jordanxcore is in awe, seeing as they're one of her favorite bands. It was a really good show. Around 10pm, Emery came on, they freaking rocked. A mosh pit broke out about 10 feet away from us & Jxcore thought it would be funny to push Amanda & start one around which he did & both collided & we all got sucked in. There was dirty everywhere, like my lungs had dirt in them my nose, my mouth, it was crazy. I was so scared of the pit at first but it was freaking amazing. The whole place went crazy, Emery stole my heart on Friday. Around 11, it was over, & we all went back to Amanda's house for a bonfire in which we all sat outside by the fire under the stars, until like 1:30 in the morning..it was quite nice. Jxcore left around 1:30 to go back to Lancaster & we all went in Amanda's room & crashed.
We woke up around 8am for Saturday(aka all day Purple Door). We did our whole morning thing then got to PD around 9:15amish. We met up Jxcore & his friend Chris, we walked down to the HM Stage & caught the end of Transistion, I didn't really know what to think of them. After them, Last Tuesday came on, those guys are awesome & hilarious. I saw them on Tuesday & Saturday, twice in one week..hahaha LT-"Our cds are $8 here today." Amanda-"They were $10 on Tuesday!" lol that was funny. After LT was August Burns Red, they were so freaking sweet, I was in that pit for like 5 minutes but got out & was stuck between two so I was still getting pushed around. But yes, ABR was amazingly awesome. After ABR, we went over to the hill by the mainstage & just sat there & acted like idiots for a long time, lol. Around 1:20, we went to the main stage & saw Falling Up, who were really good, they also had a mosh pit which I was in the center of, it was crazy. At 2:15ish, Hawk Nelson came on & once again they were really good. They're so awesome live & their mosh pit was so cheesy, it was funny, at the one song they did an all girls pit which was funny & we pushed Brett in..hahaha, Bring Em Out was so fun to sing a long to & skank(it's a moshpit dance) too lol. After Hawk Nelson, we went back to the HM to see NORMA JEAN! they were so awesome, the mosh pit was crazy(look at my video to see)..I didn't go in it because I was scared I'd die. We eventually went off to the side because it was just so hot & everyone was up against each other..I was feeling so closed in. But man, they were good. After them, we went over to Jxcore's friend Caleb's spot & just like sat around and chilled through The Myriad, He Is Legend & all through the speaker&worship..which was once again awesome. Jill & I went down for Mewithoutyou, who I really don't like, the only song I do like is January 1979. We got out of there & went back up & found Steph in which we headed back down to get a good spot for TFK, who were absolutely awesome! We were moshing during them & stuff, but the song "Move" was crazy in there it got brutal, lol so we got out. Relient K closed the festival with another awesome performance, there moshpit was hilarious, I was in that as well, but seriously it was funny as heck, they'd hardcore dance, they did a conga line it was crazy as crap. After RK, we all piled into Amanda's mom's car & headed back to her house to have another bonfire but since it started raining, we went down in the basement & turned on some August Burns Red & Last Tuesday & chilled, it was fun. We hardcore danced in the basement & laughed & acted weird..hahaha. But sadly PD 2006 has come to an end! So we have to wait another year :( I can't wait & I'm also going to Creation 2007, so heck yes, two amazing festivals in one summer next year!!! woot woot.
