I don't know if any of this is news
1) I am moving in just under two weeks.
2) I am moving into an apartment literally above the Uptown. If you find yourself at the Uptown (17th and Capp) you should probably give me a call. They have Simpson's pinball! also 36 in 1 classic arcade machine! also: cheap drinks! also: happiness.
3) I am moving in with Jon Moyer, The Yellow Dress to my Mr Stopmotion and all around good guy. We are going to try and sound proof a room so that we can have musical goings on most of the time.
4) I had a dream last night that I was invited to a party in my new apartment above the Uptown with Jon Moyer. People were doing coke and listening to techno dance music, it was only after I had been there for a little while that I realized that the people we were hanging out with were Me and Jon Moyer. When I woke up (at 6) my current downstairs neighbors were having an early morning techno dance party.
5) More and more things are coming together as far as the band is concerned, expect some updates about shows in and around the city as well as some sweet recording news in the near future.
6) There is a human finger bone in my ukulele bag at the moment.
7) I ended 2007 in a flury of reading, then rea nothing all the way through in January of 2008. Now I am back on track.
8) I just finished "The Book of Laughter and Forgetting" by Milan Kundera, now I'm reading "In the Garden of North American Martyrs" by Tobias Wolf.
9) both are/were good.
