So call me an over achiever.
I wasn't satisfied with just having allergy problems two weeks ago, so I went and got bit by a kissing bug.
I wasn't happy with just a bug bit, so I had an allergic reaction and everything swelled up to twice the size.
I wasn't happy with the swelling, so I had a bacterial infection that caused an abcess.
And I wasn't happy with just a bacterial infection, so I now have a viral infection in my throat.
The bug bite is in the last place a guy would want swelling and an infection and the viral infection caused both my tonsils to swell so it hurts to swallow. And on top of that I am medicated to hell. I have to take anti-biotics for the bacteria and an anti-inflamitory (ie Ibuprofen) for my throat. On the plus side, they did give me vicoden for my sore throat, so I feel no need to complain (or do much else for that matter).
On the plus side, I get to sleep all day now. And the new Weezer and Alkaline Trio albums are rocking my world, plus I just picked up the new Chuck Palaniuk novell and it is creative and driving as ever. I recomend all three to everyone.
