(no subject)
Ok so I have been getting in trouble by people for not posting in a while. I don't really know what the last time was that I updated and filled people in that don't live around here or that I don't talk to much.
School:
Things are pretty stressful... well actually now they are starting to calm down a little bit. Carrie and I ran the Orff musical. It was her idea and we planned out songs and everything, but we were there Tuesday and Wed till about 4:30 every week, I ran Select Chorus and Backstage Crew, anyway there was a lot of stuff going on and we didn't start the kids until January and they got about 40 minutes of rehersal a week tops! which was crazy, but they totally pulled it off, I was in tears on the way home on Friday cause I just felt like it was soooo not ready, but mondays rehersal was better and then the show last night was really good. It was packed. It was funny cause at the end Carrie introduced me and stuff and was like this is her first William Street concert and everything and she took pictures of my two groups and gave them to me, it just felt good. Well other then that we have inventories that are due and concert season is approaching and I still have one last observation that needs to be done after break, but things are calming down which is good, and even though it is stressful I am really starting to know the kids and my department is amazing!
Church:
I am still leading worship on Sunday mornings, sometimes things are a little stressful because my church doesn't always like change, and they don't like to do songs differently, they just don't understand that they don't have to sing. It is like if you are singing hyms do you really know what they are about, no because you are concentrating on singing them correctly not on the words. I mean we don't study the songs that we hear on the radio however if we listen to them enough and listen to it then you will pick it up and know it, but if you try to sing with it without even listening you won't pick it up, I tried to explain this to people but they don't all get it.
Life:
Ok so people have been bugging me about this. Yes I have a boyfriend, I know surprising, eh. I'll give you the basics if anyone wants more information or whatever just IM me I'll talk to you about it. His name is Nathan, he is 26, he is an absoulte sweetheart and we are sooooooo happy! Ohh yeah and he's my pastors son, haha.
