Two entries in a year is good, right?
So holiday is over by now. I was glad to be home but boy, am I wishing I was back in London now. I miss holiday mode. Even if I was exhausted by the end of it. I did get to catch up with a couple of the awesome girls last week, though. So good to see them all and so glad we had an awesome group who got on. From the sounds of it, it could have been worse.
Oh, and the election I mentioned last time? Another leadership challenge so now we don't know when. And I'm really fucking over it still. Also, don't know what to do with my vote, that's for sure. Dickhead or Asshole being the choices. Crazy asshole, at that. Woe.
I've gotten back in BSG fic recently. It's been awesome actually, I found some great stuff. Makes me almost nostalgic. Almost being the operative word. At lot of kick ass AUs were written, though. Shiny. I almost feel like getting back into a fandom... but no. I'm definitely done with that brand of crazy. I need a scarily specific brand now, so I can avoid the type that stresses me out. The best idea is to ignore the vocal minority of nutcases and stick with the quiet ones.
Aside from that, been really boring. Was supposed to go bowling with Yas today, but her car wouldn't start so we're having dinner on Thursday instead. Oh, the joys of being an adult now. Woe.
