What sucks?

I'll tell you what sucks. What sucks is that I went to the dentist for a routine 6 month cleaning, and when I walked out, I had an appointment for tomorrow to get my wisdom teeth pulled.

MY WISDOM TEETH.

PULLED.

MINE.

OUT.

EXTRACTED.

And I don't get knocked out either. No siree bob.

Local anesthetic, and if I need it, some nitrous oxide.EH

that's crazy, you're going in the very next day? are they really bad or something?

but you'll be fine. i had mine out a few years ago. did you have a choice to get knocked out or not? just close your eyes really tight!!

i'll be praying for you!

Yeah, I wanted to get them done before I start my new job, so I didn't have to take any days off of work. They aren't bad at all, they just have some little decay spots on them, which my dentist said could get worse with time, so it's better to have them out now.

Since I'm having them done in the office, I don't have a choice about being knocked out. Just lots and lots of gas!

Thanks Kelley!

Thanks Julie! My biggest fear is that once they get in there, something is going to be bad, and they won't be able to finish, and I'll have to go to an oral surgeon and have them yanked out, and be in lots and lots of pain.

Poor Jenna! My wisdom teeth extraction was not bad AT ALL. Just put alot of ice on your cheeks for the first couple of days. (I held ice to my cheeks for like 48 hours straight and had much less swelling). AND, if they aren't impacted it should be an easier surgery with less pain and swelling. You'll be ok!

Thanks Janna! I'm doing pretty well right now. The bottom 2 were super easy, the top 2 were tougher to get out. Still all numb though, Praise God! I don't ever want the numbness to wear off. Never Ever. they need to sell that stuff on the blackmarket. Tom's here taking care of me.
