scrumptious scotch
I'm home w/ a hot toddy--that is, hot tea w/ a shot of scotch in it. I got a bottle of clan mcgregor scotch whisky w/ my friend chris today/yesterday, a first purchase at the liquor store. I only got it cause the lady at the cashier didn't accept my ID as it was expired as of my 21st birthday--so my friend lent his. Not like an expired license "disqualifies" you as 21 now, but i understand from the cashier's point of view that they had a right to refuse the sale too. This elicited my rant about new england city fathers' paternalism as we drove away. But i do respect the wish to remain in business too. Just kinda annoying w/ some law and order types...
