Rant.
Why is it that when there is a real threat to the country and a leader chooses to respond in a real and effective way rather than dithering with people about it, liberals get all bent out of shape? You threaten my family and I won't be diplomatic with you, threaten my country and my fellow americans, i don't see cause for diplomacy there either. We're the strongest nation in the world and we're letting pissant little countries threaten us because we're too fucking worried about what people might think to respond. Well you know what? They hate us anyway. They are jealous because we're stronger, richer and more successful and doing what the rest of these much older countries could never do - create a country of amazing cultural diversity and combine it into a land of Americans. But now that's splintering, because people are more interested in being hyphenated americans with their different and separate culture than unified Americans. That's not what this country is about, and if we keep this up, our time is limited. America is strong when it stands together. But now, not two years after thousands of utterly innocent civilians were killed for doing nothing more damning than going to work, there are people shouting in the street that we must be more sensitive and gentle to the nations who breed and protect these killers. Why don't we just lie down, close our eyes, and wait for them to finish us off??
