Whoa. (I'm so articulate!) I figured it would be Shannon who died, even before the spoilers came out. Her backstory wasn't going anywhere. But, I had hope that with the Sayid relationship, perhaps she would stick around a bit longer. I've never been a fan of her character mostly because I avoid people who act like her in real life like tha plague. But, I was attached to having her on the show so I'm upset when any of the "originals" get the boot. And, FINALLY, just when I perhaps was starting to like her a bit, BOOM, dead! At least with her new backstory we saw she wasn't a total bitch and life treated her poorly in some ways. We found out some of her motivations.

Stupid Ana Lucia. As if the fandom didn't hate her enough. Now, Sayid is going to be a tad miffed at her. *understatement* What a great introduction for her to the fusilage people!

What's with the crazy flashback hair of DOOM?! First, we had Jack and his wacky wig, now Shannon with her yellow extensions and Boone with his flyaway bangs. Weird.

Has anyone determined what Walt was saying to Shannon? Last time he appeared, if you played his words backwords, he said "push the button, don't push the button, bad" - whatever the hell that means! Not that I figured this out - I join comms for such things! Now with Shannon dead, who is Walt going to appear to?

Next week is supposed to be an "extended" episode. Perhaps there will be less commercials? Last night seemed ridiculous - I felt I saw spent more time watching ads for soap than watching the show!

WEIRD dream last night. I went to a book signing for Goblet of Fire. For some reason, it was being held in the Indian area of the city where I grew up in an Indian barbershop. The only person there signing books was Emma Watson (Hermione). I went up to her and called her a "crack whore" before she signed my book. She signed the book, acknowledged me by saying something like "always a pleasure to meet a fan" and I woke up.

I don't understand this dream.

I had a nightmare shortly before Prisoner of Azkaban came out in the theaters. I woke up in a cold sweat and awakened my boyfriend. Told him I had a "horrible, terrible dream." When he asked what it was, I informed him that I had had a vision that the movie was bad. He, of course, will never allow me to live this down. ;) I am so lame. *beats head on desk*
