Life, it just keeps going
I haven't up dated in months...sorry I guess I've never really been good a livejournal. Well, my life is amazing right now. I got the keys to my apartment on Saturday and I love it. I can't wait to move everything and make it home, my home. Plus I've spent my money, that's right no help from my parents yet. So I literally have earned my first apartment. For those of you who don't know I'm sharing with my awesome friend Rosa.
On top of this great housing situation, work is also going well. Umm, well at least I'm enjoying it. But I'm being stupid at the same time. Apparently I love to play with fire, and my current crush is living proof. The problem is, he seems to want me too. Now, most people wouldn't admit to that being a problem, but I think I might just be in over my head. I don't actually have much experience with life and this man (yes he's a man not a boy) has way too much experience with a lifestyle so completely different from my own. And what makes it all worse is that he's the type of guy to pamper the woman he's seeing, so I can't help but want him. I guess we'll see what Friday night brings, my friends will be home and he and I work together till midnight, so I might not be going home alone.
Ok, so how many of you know Tiger Army? Well, I'd never heard them before until last night and they are great. I loved the concert. Plus the leader singer has this smirk/smile that just melts your heart. Oh, and the last circle pit was beautiful. Kinda a weird description, a beautifull pit of people pushing eachother, but it truely was gorgeous. The opener was also pretty cool, Street Dogs, they're from Boston and I enjoy their music. Also, on Saturday night I went out with this guy Aron (know him from work) and all of his friends are into making music. They mainly do hip-hop, but they also do some heavier stuff. Needless to say I acquired 2 free cds and met some cool people. This one guy Govin was totally interesting. He does some Chinese med stuff, plus he MCs, and he was the only one who contiually came to sit with me on the couch. I hope to run into him again cus he's gonna take salsa lessons, god I love guys who dance.
As far as partying goes, I am back into drinking again. I had pretty much given up getting drunk from about mid-January to early April I'd say. But now its become an every other weekend type event. Last time I got drunk I did my first keg stand. It was fun, and the pic of me is awesome, but I'm too much into the whole thing. I think I need to stick to my shots and 40's.
I really should be getting work done right now. Only 3 weeks left of instruction, then ONE final. That's right this quarter I only have one final. I'm so happy. I really don't feel like stressing. The weather is too beautiful and the beach is too close to be in a bad mood.
Well, I'll be in Woodland around 10am on Saturday, but I'm leaving sometime before noon on Suday. So yeah, maybe I'll see a friend or two.
