(no subject)
Although I usually hate afternoon shifts, I think I'm glad I only had to go into work for 5 hours yesterday. I was so tired by the end of it and ached so much, not helped by the fact that I was running up and down three flights of stairs for like 15 minutes trying to sort something out. I'm not sure I could have survived a full day! I will be working all weekend though, so hopefully I will stop being so tired by then. Waking up is hard. Bleurgh, mornings.
The past couple of days I've woken up with a really sore throat, too. Yesterday the soreness wore off after a couple of hours, but it still felt off all day, and it's not any better today. It doesn't hurt to swallow and I haven't actually lost my voice, but I feel like it could be on its way. Fun fun fun! I wonder if Val's feeling any better...she ended up pretty sick towards the end of our holiday, but we're not sure exactly what it was. I just hope she did go to the doctor's once she got home.
SO YEAH my life, it is thrilling. I need to go to the store in a bit and buy a liquid eyeliner - my brother is going to a circus-themed party this weekend and is dressing as a mime, and he would like my help with the make up. I figured liquid eyeliner would work better than a pencil for what he needs, but I need to practice with it as I've never used one before.
