I can't believe it's Sunday already. The past 6 days have really zoomed by and now I'm facing my final week in Cornwall thinking 'whoa, I have to leave so soon?!'
It's kind of amusing to think that I was a bit nervous about coming here - worried I would still be shy around my aunt and uncle, worried I would suck at the job, worried I would get lost if I tried to venture out on my own. As it happens, I've had a great time, even if I haven't gone out on my own as much as I thought I would, or watched that many of the DVDs I brought with me, like I'd been expecting.
Part of me doesn't want to leave. Sure, the early mornings are hard and I only work for a few hours every day for a small amount of pay, but the area is lovely and it's so peaceful. Considering it's the middle of nowhere and I am very much a city girl, I have somehow fallen in love with the place.
