Right to Write

It is one of those annoying days when you feel like writing, but all goes blank the moment you sit in front of the computer raring to go.
Since returning to work after my Europe trip, it is fair to say I have settled back into my monotonous routine of activities with the odd event happening now and then.

There was the time when I left work early to watch the Champions League showdown between Liverpool and AC Milan at Walkabout in Temple. The atmosphere was great with the red fans singing, chanting, cheering and eventually weeping as Liverpool went down 2-1 to the Italians.
I have to mention I have been drinking a lot less recently, which I suppose is a good thing.

Being an impulsive person, I made last minute plans to head down to Brighton beach over the long weekend last week, which was a big mistake. There was more rainfall in that weekend that in a normal month of May. It was also a shock as for the first time when I saw a beach with rocks and pebbles instead of sand. I am really used to sandy beaches and this one just did not work for me. The relentless rain did not ease my disappointment. Regardless, Brighton Castle was a gem with its ostentatious and eccletic architectural style. Despite all, cheerios to RQ for the company and a nice homecooked meal.

I am into my last 4 months here in London and slowly counting down to the journey home. There seems to be so much more to do here and so many places I have yet to see. Not quite sure how many more holidays I can cramp in at the moment. I suppose I can do Edinburgh in a weekend.

Any takers for a trip to Scandinavian trip in August?
YJ, do you still want to do Greece and Turkey with me in October?
