Scorching Summer in Barcelona
DD and I have finally made plans for our trip to Barcelona in summer this year.
The flights and accommodation have been booked, so we are well on our way to a fantastic holiday!
The thing is, I have not sent in my leave application. A repeated mistake.
It was exactly what I did for my upcoming trip with YJ in May, where I made all arrangements before getting my leave approved.
I was lucky to get away with it that time round. Fingers crossed that I will get away with it this time round.
Regardless, I think I will still go ahead with my plans. I believe that no one in the office should be indispensable for 3 days anyway.
We have also bought tickets for the Al Green concert in London.
DD is afraid that Al Green will hit the bucket before she gets to watch him. What a thought!
The weekend was not exactly packed with events. I spent the whole of Saturday curled up in bed recovering from Friday drinks.
I think I was just tired in general. I do not recall drinking a whole lot, but I did remember missing my station. I vaguely remember shivering on the open train platform at I-do-not-know-what time, waiting for the next train to bring me back to the right destination.
How pathetic.
I was also in darkness for the whole of the weekend because of a faulty fuse in the house.
It is getting extremely annoying as this happens every other week.
Heard that RQ is heading over to London in late April. Welcome to London mate!
Now it is back to work as I am five minutes past my designated lunchtime. Poof!
