well privacy, for one. i took all my public entries off and made them friends-only, then made that banner, so that when people who aren't on my friends lists see my journal, they see that they need to be added. but, since i did this banner thing last night, it shows up confusing to everyone that's already on my list... i should fix that. nobody's being cut, just making sure lurkers have the balls to ask to be added :B

As someone with a friends-only journal (fucking stalkers) for a long time, I understand the desire.

I didn't think you were going to cut anyone, though, I just didn't know if there was a paticular reason for the transformation.
