It was 23 days before he had to take the train to his parents. If it would be a normal train, there would be twelve exits, two emergency ones in every wagon. He would take the earliest one to avoid traffic, but would have to count on human masses. The thought alone was enough to tighten the invisible straps around his chest.
The body rules the mind. Hyperventilating is nothing more than giving in to your emotions.

So now he was here, to get used to masses. Here, where there were plenty - he had counted at least 37 possible exits- and -if everything went well- he would not be noticed by anyone. Else, he had a book. And intruding on someone's reading was rude, he was pretty sure of that.

He flipped another page, eyes darting over his surroundings. Why did people so willingly became part of a large gathering?

*Skates past him as he pretty much stands out, obsessively eyeing the crowd around him*

Looking for someone?

I guess. Thank you. I don't think I've seen you around here before.

"I usually don't go off the scho- out of the house. When people are still around. This is a test, but don't worry. It's not a lethal test. No-one will get hurt."
