um.....yeah.
this is definitely one of the strangest things that has ever happened to me.
i lost my car key.
not my full set of keys, upon which said car key is usually attatched. no, i still have my key ring and all my other keys. somehow, between lunchtime (when i drove to the store to pick up a sandwich, afterwards locking the car, with the key, from the outside [since that's the only way it locks]) and now, my car key became unattached from the rest of my keys and went off into the ether-spaces of all left socks and misplaced paper-clips. the only place i have been since then is right here in my chair. and back to my car, twice, searching the ground the entire way to see if i could find the little blasted piece of metal.
yes, i have checked all my pocketses.
i am not only perplexed at where the key could be, but perplexed at how only it and not the rest of my keys should be missing.
