i guess it's official now
well, nothing cements in the reality of home-ownership quite like paying the first round of bills.
plus i have to set up an appointment with the Town O' Hartford to get the house re-appraised to reflect the new "market value" of the house. perfect timing, huh? I buy just when the entire town is going to get a nice 40-or-so-percent increase on assessed values. but at least it's fed'ral-tax-deductible, so i'll get a little break when i do my taxes in aught-eight.
