So, I was watching 100 Players Who Shook The Kop (I downloaded it from here: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=112969.0. And found some interesting facts (I'm not copying Rafa, just don't know other word). Sorry for mistakes. Not finished yet, so might be part 2.

Record signing in 1946 from Newcastle. When LFC and Everton came to sign him, he was at the cinema and message came up on the screen: Will Albert Stubbins please reports to St. James’ Park?

He went , flipped a coin to decide to which speak first and it was LFC. He liked the offer and signed.
He is the only footballer on the front cover of The Beatles  Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album.

The reason for his inclusion was that Paul McCartney and John Lennon, although never avid football fans, quite simply liked the name Albert Stubbins.

In seven years at Liverpool he won 5 championships, the European cup, the FA cup, 3 League cups and 4 Charity shields. Years after he quit Liverpool he was continually being linked with top clubs. He made one thing clear at the time to Liverpool fans all over the world that he would only return for one club: “I’d never play for anyone else than Liverpool. The only other team I’d play for would be Liverpool reserves!”

“You have no idea how crap I was. Even when I was playing for Liverpool, I was the worst player in the best team in the world.”  Craig Johnston in January 2004
A year later, devastated by what had happened at Hillsborough, he not only raised thousands of pounds in his own country for the Fund which had been set up but also willingly flew half-way across the world to attend the memorial service at Anfield seven days after the disaster and stayed on to help counsel the bereaved families.

He designed the Predator football boot, his own brand of surfboards, became a full-time photographer tried being a music producer, etc…. his list of accomplishment is endless.

"Is it true you wrote the Anfield rap?

Absolutely. Conceived, wrote it, directed the video. I went to London and
sought out a guy called Derek B who was Britain’s first ever rapper.” http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/johnston-on-the-anfield-rap

Birthplace: Johannesburg S-Africa. One of the club’s greatest-ever goalscorers; only Roger Hunt has scored more in league games for Liverpool but all of Hodgson’s 233 league strikes came in the First Division - from 358 games, a fantastic goals-per-game ratio.

He also was a first-class cricketer for Lancashire, he also played for Everton baseball team.

He was a captain in 18 consecutive seasons for LFC. Never scored a goal in 371 games. Liverpool’s first player to be a captain of England.
When he retired went to the backroom staff for few years, then he became our groundsman.

First black player for LFC. Birthplace: Toxteth, Liverpool.

He is also an Ambassador for “kick it out” which is a campaign that targets racism in football and spends a lot of his time visiting schools and talking to children about his career, the hardships he faced and helping raise awareness of the ever present problem of racism in football and sport generally.
