Carroll debut delayed
Andy Carroll is unlikely to make his Liverpool bow against Sparta Prague tonight, Kenny Dalglish told the assorted media during Wednesday’s pre-match press conference.
However, Carroll’s recovery from injury is said to be “going to plan”. Dalglish is in particular delighted with the attitude Liverpool’s record signing has showed in training since stepping up his recovery.
“For us, he’s done everything we’ve asked of him,” Dalglish praised the target-man’s attitude as he recovers from injury. “We’re delighted with his progress, but I don’t think he’s quite ready for a game yet.”
