Well That's All We Need Baby, Don't Ya Know?

Hey Everyone.

I know its been a while since my last update but I've been really busy enjoying the summer. Its been a really exciting and enjoyable one. I really got to thinking. This is the time of my life that I absolutely love for. Its the time where you feel absolutely indestrucable. Mine go like this:
  • Dearborn Homecoming
  • Camp Dearborn End Of Summer
  • Crusin' Telegraph
  • Cabrini Festival
  • Summer Nights

Its these times that really define me. The fun and enjoyment that i get from these places is like nothing that i have really ever had before.

Dearborn Homecoming is so cool because you have everything in the city practically shut down for it. The food is amazing, and the festival is cool. Nothing beats the Fireworks. You will never see a better display. It's worth the 4 a.m. alarm clock to set up our tarp that is really bigger than it needs to be. But hey, who cares.

Camp Dearborn End Of Summer is probably my favorite of all the things on the list. Its probably the best time you could ever have. 5 days of nothing but relaxation and fun. Football on the beach, golfing, squirtgun fights during the dark, and the guy giving away every kind of free food you can imagine. I am really very sad when the weekend is over, and i can not wait for it to come this year.

Crusin' Telegraph is really cool, and really new. The first one was amazing. Hemi 'Cudas, Chevelle SS 454's, Camaros, Corvettes, Mustangs, Vipers. Even a Pantera. It was amazing. I loved the bleach burnout guys ( BURN 'EM)  by my street. Had a nice selection of burnouts too. My big Chevy van even squeeked 'em on the skid.  It was awesome.

Cabrini Festival was really cool this year too. I met up with Kmita who is cool himself, and then i get the great pleasure to meet Joe, Fitz, Haley, and Sam. So that was really cool in and of itself. the rain and the cops didnt help but it made for a good story. Plus, I'll always know where Joe is parked. (Right here) I'm really glad I went, and I will definately go back next year.

Summer Nights have got to be the best time in the world. The Classic cars at the 50's McDonalds or the inevitable food run. Be it crusin' for Speedway Dogs with Alan or flying down Telegraph to get to Kmita's. Watching Baseball with Rob, making fun of everything. The annual Friday night drive with Nicole and Mary. Racing Jones in his I-4 Grand Am (who beat us) Hanging out with Sara at McDonalds. There always is something to do. Its what I live for.

Now that you guys know what I love, I'll throw it to you. What do You love? What keeps you going? Comment with whatever it is. Let everyone know.

I really look forward to seeing what you guys think.

<3 Nick
