soooooooo very much has happened in the life of LEE since I last updated.
I graduated college, which was super exciting and I am reminded of how awesome it truly is when i scroll down and read all my old entries which mainly consist of be whining about school and writing essays.
That is no longer a problem!
To make things even MORE awesome: one week before i graduated I GOT A JOB!
Working in Manhattan for the 4th largest advertising agency in the world.
And guess what?
I STILL HAVE IT!
I'm pretty much the main player in the media asset management team.
It's not the most exciting job of all time, but i can't even explain how elated i am to have a full time job that pays fairly well in this ever shitty economy.
I'm one of the lucky ones for sure.
Nowadays i don't have to worry about writing papers or taking tests or befriending teachers, i can work and then i can go home and do whatever i want. I don't work on the weekends, so i'm free to make plans.
It's a really nice feeling.
And to make the nice feeling even nicer: I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!
next week Jessica and I are going to spend a week with Mickey Mouse himself!
It figures that the first thing i would do when i get a job is buy tickets to Disney World....lol.
Also, plastiq passion has been in the studio all summer. Our new CD is almost finished and i just cannot wait for it to be finished so i can listen to it lol.
and we can start playing lots of shows again.
moral of this story: life is good.
at least right now it is.
so i gotta soak it in.
here's some stacey and jes quotes of the day:
"some thoughts race through my head with my mouth left open hoping to catch up." -j.chaos
"some thoughts race through my head and then stub their toes on a chair leg and fall down crying, defeated." --stacey lee
and finally,
"Some thoughts race through my head and then, much to their surprise, take off flying. It is only when they are in the air that they realize that they themselves are thoughts, and are not tied down by the burden of gravity." --stacey lee
