So I got back from New York a few days ago, but I've been running around like a fool who works at Cinnabon ever since I got here, so I havnt had any time to do anything important/productive. But the trip was really aweomse. Tyler's friend made me realize it was way more oriented around shopping then site seeing, which kind of blows, but what do you expect when the tour guides are both women... along with 85% of our tourist population. hahaha
We went to Macy's. which was impressivley big but bland, and H&M, which was cool and comfortingly cheaper. Then on the first night.. we went to TImes Square weeee! We ate at an irish Pub where I could actually drink, so I was really freaking pleased. MM. The next day I saw ground zero (really sad... obviously.. but its different when you're actually faced with it) the INtrepid, statue of libertie.. central park and 5th avenue wich is the most intimidating street EVER. I've decided that Trump tower has no actual purpose but to be expensive and be constructed with gold and marble. Really cool all the same.
Theres also this bull sculpture on Wall street, thats apparently good luck to the Traders.. and they have a habit of touching its balls or something. Anyways, everyone I tell this to looks at me like im a pervert and says they've never heard of it. But itss TRUE!
anywho second night we went back to Times Square.. and drank more.. ended up at a gnarly thai restaurant. WEeeeee
So yeah, not enough sites.. but oh well, good shopping! heh heh...er.. no no it was greatly fun. I was with my sister, my mom and my aunt, my grandmother and her sister by the way. all weekend. I played that game you somtimes do in cars where you count the number of different state license lates you can spot. Except for me.. I counted in how many conditions my grand-realtives' knees gave out. Thats really mean! no it didnt happen quite like that, they were troopers.
Well New York is a.. happening place and very cool.. but im glad Im home.. the lights were blinding!
hmm anywyas, my live jourmnal is WAY TOO exciting, obviously, and ive got to stop now.
oh.. but scool in 8 days. AHH!!!
Also some mook at Cinnabon was bragging today about how he was the most terrific multi-tasker in the world. Unfortunately though, considering thats he's significantly.. um.. clueless.. I think he was referring to frosting buns, ie.. the basic job he is employed for, and actually earning a wage at the same time.
