The kitten just brought me a gift. It was the front half of a frog, with entrails hanging and only one leg left. I was in the middle of about a dozen tasks at the moment that I saw the frog. ... my theory is that's why they're so polar opposite to dogs. (Ok, not much of a theory ... send the law suit to my lawyer. *grin*)

BTW: Robertson Davies ... one of my long-time faves. In the 70s and 80s I read everything by him and Margaret Atwood.
The trilogy is great, but "Fifth Business" is by far my favorite.

And yaa ... clutter /is/ clutter.
I've let a lot of things slip, over the years. They don't clutter my life. They're just, well *sigh* no longer here.
