Lacma.

today i woke up superb early and went out and about. i met up with china at Lacma (for those of you who don't know, it's the Los Angeles County Museum of Art). so anyway, my goal was getting sand. a few weeks ago, i went to lacma with school (how lame), but loved it. the exhibit was buddhism. so we looked around the museum and looked at this beautiful sand mandala. the mandala was like WHOA. the dali lama himself helped build it and it took like three weeks to build. they destroyed the exhibit today. the monks will put the left over sand into the ocean to show impermance. it was amazing. wow. so yeah, there were like a thousand people there today. i could barely see. monks chanted and chanted. finally they started the dispersal. it took forever, but i finally got some sand. it was awesome. nothing like this has ever happened in the U.S. wow.
break is over, but it ended well. see everyone tomorrow. <3333333

this looks something like what was destoryed today.
