(no subject)
Gas prices are ridiculously expensive these days and they're only gonna get worse over the next few weeks. My dad told me to go fill up my tank tonight because he heard on the radio that they're expecting gas shortages this weekend and that some places might even be rationing gas since its a long weekend. Usually I'm very skeptical when it comes to these kinds of rumors but I don't exactly have the spare cash at my disposal to fill up my tank when it costs an arm and a leg to do so. I understand that the hurricane has affected the oil platforms in the gulf but I think some oil companies will use any excuse to jack up the prices on us...If they want to raise gas prices why can't we all get a "cost of living" raise to make up for it?? Ok, I'm sure no one wants to hear my opinions on this so I'll move on,lol.
Two days into my first week of classes and things are going pretty well. I'm really excited about my classes this year, my professors are awesome! The only downer is that I have to pay $100 out of my pocket to buy 2 books since my scholarship won't pay for them (they're not at the USF bookstore) and I don't have that kind of money laying around...I'm spending it all on gas! I'm very very ready for Thursday! I need to have some fun and that's just what I intend to do! (By the way Steph, have you heard from your friend about the seats?)
