He sleeps a lot!
Case in point...
He's only slightly smaller than Arden...
HE adores a belly rub!
THis puppy has serious character!
Today we had to try to figure out how to contain him until he's fully house trained (both potty and chewing), but then...
...you find yourself creating makeshift walls to keep your puppy in the kitchen while your husband reconfigures the pen in the living area. He was super stressed out to be in the crate in the bedroom while we were all in the living area, so I tried to rig something for him.
Here, he seemed okay with it.
Then, not so much.
...oh yes, and by the way, our shoes have to be stored on the dining room table--which is oh-so-sanitary!
This was the not-really-working for us attempt at bracing the dog pen in the dining area--he just pushed it all over the house. That, and you can't fold up the pen to sweep/mop with zip ties attacking it to a 2X4. Not to mention the fact that Darwin chewed through two of the zip ties, and gnawed on the wood at any chance.
Those are hundred pound weight clips--two on each side--hopefully that will be more secure. (Pardon the plumber crack!).
Meanwhile, back at the ranch---Darwin had had enough of patience... and knocked it all down.
The whole thing was too much for him. He voluntarily went into his pen and went to sleep!
