This month is actually rather lovely because I won't be doing too much travelling...NOvember will be crazy with almost the whole first 3 weeks in Johannesburg for meetings and training.
Funny how I always thought that travelling on the job would be great fun...it is....except that I have to drive most of the time and that gets very tiring! I'm not good with driving with sunglasses too. Makes me sleepy. Ha! ALmost as if my brain tells me that it's time to sleep cos it's dark! hilarious :)
I'm feelin gooood at the moment cos my september reports are in and I have mapped out my pre-release schedule for October. SO things feel manageable and no big events or presentations in the next month.
Had coffee with my colleagues today at a cosy little coffeeshop which just opened up in town. Newcastle is small so we KNow whenever something new opens and if it's somewhere to eat, ask us! My mum believes that people who do social work eat alot to manage the emotional stress and I do believe she's right!
Work aside, Becka and I did our first paid function a few weeks ago!!!!!! Played the violin and I also played a few songs on the sax.. it was a Pretoria University alumni thingy and wine tasting evening. Very...stimulating :) ahem. Here we are, the sister and I, very proudly flashing our first cheque. Can't wait to do weddi
