Tremors [no, not that fun Kevin Bacon film] !
Two nights ago I felt my first earthquake. Now, earthquakes happen all the time, especially here in Lima... but most of them you don't notice or even feel at all.
I've been through hurricanes and I've seen tornadoes touch down. Hoorah for funnel-clouds.
But earthquakes, they're scary when you notice them. The window started to rattle as I was curling up to go to sleep. It was really scary. For a few minutes, it was like the monsters under the bed DO exist. No me gusta.
Anyway. I've jumped out of a plane before and enjoyed myself profusely... but that little earthquake made it hard to sleep that night. At least I got cuddles for being a scared-y-cat.
Also, sorry for not getting the Machu Picchu photos and blog up! I'm running out of room for uploads and it takes forever to get the photos up! I'll get it going soon, I swear.
