I don't write too much about my life, but I'm procrastinating on all the stuff I have to do right now, so it seems like a good opportunity to document my life.
I love love love being back in Fort Collins. Training was boring, as training usually is, but I'm so happy to be back with my staff! Chris and Jason were super rude during a session, so our whole staff has to go through extra diversity training with GUIDE. Whatev. Sometimes they are complete douche bags, but I freaking love them regardless.
My floor is still cool. I'm shit at my job because I still haven't met all my new residents, but they aren't around when I am, and I've tried. I got two new suite mates and I like them a lot, way better than the girls I lived with last semester. I love the guys on my floor, but I'm about ready to kill a few who won't stop partying.... Why is that always the kind of guys I get along with the best? Just like last year...
Classes started this week, and I'm actually looking forward to this semester. Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be killer, but I really like my classes so far. My schedule looks a little like this:
Mon - 9 am Evaluating Contemporary TV, 1 pm Writing Arguments, 3 pm work, 7 pm staff meeting
Tues - 8 am Nonverbal Comm, 9:30 am Co-Cultural Comm, 11 am Rhetoric and Religion, 3 pm Handicapped Individuals in Society.
Wed/Fri look like Monday but without the staff meeting, and Thurs matched Tues minus the 3 pm class.
Hopefully I can pick up another job for Thursdays or something, or maybe I should actually dedicate that day to all my homework, because it seems like all of my teachers think I only have their class to worry about, never mind all the rest of my classes. I have oodles of reading and my writing arguments class is like 100% busy work. But I'm really excited about the rest of my classes. Since Nonverbal is so early, my teacher gives extra credit for bringing in snacks for the class. Awesome.
I still really love the family I work for, they're beyond great. And they love me too! I'm actually going back over there tonight, my fourth day in a row. Yay money! Especially because I need to go get my new drivers license, and I have no idea how much that costs.
I'm sleepy, maybe I'll go rest up before babysitting allllllll night.
