Offer: Brutally honest beta
Offer: I will beta your fan fiction of 20,000 words or less, and I will be brutally honest (but not mean) about it. I'm a copy editor at a metro newspaper, and I am a very picky person when it comes to grammar/punctuation/spelling/etc. I'll explain any changes I suggest upon request. I will also offer advice on characterization, plot and whatever else you would like. It can be one long fic or a few shorter fics. I don't have many squicks, but feel free to comment or e-mail me if you have any questions.

Harry Potter, Doctor Who (Doctors 9/10), Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Lost, 24, Kevin Smith, HIMYM, Grey's Anatomy, Rent, Star Trek (TOS, TNG and movies only), Star Wars, many urban/dark fantasy series/books

X-Files, X-Men(movies, some comics), Heroes, LotR(movies), Gossip Girl (show, not books), PotC, Twilight
Actually, just ask -- I'm pretty geeky and am probably familiar enough with most fandoms to beta your story, outside of the anime/manga fandoms.
