I can promise 4 squares. :)

ETA: I can also do more if we need them, I'm just limited by how much Plymouth Encore I have. ;) And I agree that the minimum bid should be a bit high given how much work this will be to assemble. I've done one of these before, and it's a job of work!

ETA2: Also, if you don't mind a 12" square, I can promise a square with a Celtic style cabled lover's knot like the center of this piece. The border cable puts the square at 20", so I can only do the 8" center motif with a narrower border as yet to be determined.

OMG that is so beautiful!!! It would make a stunning center to the afghan.

XD The border really "makes" the square, I think, but the central motif does work on its own. :) I'll think up something to go around it that still sets it off.

If you're open to machine washable but not machine dryable, I've got some cream colored superwash wool I could use for this. And if you don't mind a delay (and cables worked up in variegated yarn, lol), I could even dye it in a rainbow gradient. Sadly, I'm not dyeing again until Sept. But I could get it to you in the first week of September, with, say 4 other squares worked up in Plymouth Encore. Otherwise, it'll have to be worked up in green, grey, or yellow as that's all I've got on hand of an acrylic blend.

Incidentally, are you on Ravelry? I'm "djinnj" there, also. :)

Oh my god, it would be out of this WORLD if you did that in a hand-dyed rainbow!!! (and I am so friending you on ravelry....)

I'm pondering how long the color runs need to be. Luckily, I'm making a lot of these for a wedding present, so dissecting one for the purposes of dyeing a gradient is easy! :D
