Offered: Audio recording services in the NYC area
I have NO clue if anyone will be into this, but it's so cool to see people offering whatever they have- I wanted to offer what I have too!
Offer: I will record, mix & master up to 3 songs or 15 minutes of whatever you want to record. Bring your band and I could record a short demo. Bring yourself and I could record a voice over or singer-songwriter-ey demo. Bring your 6 year old niece and let her sing into a really good mic for a day. Hey- you could even record a marriage proposal! I'll record whatever you'd like (as long as it's decent- I don't really want to do old fashioned radio porn, but I'm ok if you have a mouth like a trucker) and give you a beautiful recording!
I grew up in a very musical family, have written music for over 10 years and been a professional audio engineer for 6. I have a BA in recording arts from Middlesex University/SAE in London and I currently work at an audio tech school where I have access to everything we'll need for your recording. We'll be using a Neve console (unless you really really have a thing with SSL consoles & want me to use our SSL 4000G+) and all other gear, including mics and even a drum kit (albeit a crappy one) will be provided. I've worked with Taiko drummers, jazz musicians, hip hop & rap artists, classical musicians, punks, goths, metalheads, actors in need of a VO demo- you name it. Whatever your style, I'll be ready for you!

Delivery: The recording must take place on a Sunday when the school is closed and will be scheduled the first available Sunday after bidding closes. Your finished product will be delivered to you within 2 (most likely less) months of recording (sorry- I work a lot & just want to be realistic). You will receive a CD with the finished songs as well as a Pro Tools session burnt to disk if you'd like.
